|Hello All -
Sally Flaherty passed away this past Saturday evening, March 13th. She had spent many years as a camper - and her parents, Jessie and Bill Crozier, were two of the "original" campers back in the early 50's. They were one of "The Three C's" (along with the Coles & Charpentiers).
Sally was very active at Blueberry Hill - helping with many of the events, variety shows, golf parades, chicken dinners, annual "reunions", auctions and as Treasurer for a number of years. Many other relatives of Sally's also camped at BH over the years.
There will be a Mass at St. Mary's in Hanover at 9am this Saturday March 20th. Sally was exactly 2 months shy of her 75th birthday, an event she was truly looking forward too. The family is planning to have a Celebration of Sally's life, with a date TBD (when the weather is a little better).

It's been some time since I've been down to BH. I moved to Vermont in the mid-90's. My wife, 4 kids and I now live in Waterbury, VT - just up the road from Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Green Mountain Coffee. I have wonderful memories of Blueberry Hill and frequently tell stories to my kids about what a great place it was to be raised.
Sally had recently told me about the fact that there was a Curlew Pond web site. Pat - nice job, it looks great.
